The CIMON-2 Robotic Assistant

world''s first female ai news anchor

CIMON-2 follows the experimental CIMON robotics.

The CIMON-2 robot is an artificial intelligence designed to assist astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Airbus, IBM, and the German Aerospace Center have joined forces to create a robot assistant that can assist astronauts in their space research. It will be equipped to perform simple conversations, record videos, and read experimental procedures.

The CIMON-2 bot is capable of identifying people, objects, or emotions. It includes eight microphones and a directional microphone to aid in voice recognition. It has a camera, which can capture images of the surroundings.

It has autonomous flight capabilities

The CIMON robotic is a machine that can autonomously fly and interact with astronauts. It is equipped by ultrasonic sensors, which can detect objects and obstacles. The sensors can also determine the distance between CIMON (or an object) and that object. These capabilities will assist CIMON in avoiding potential hazards.

The CIMON-robot is the first autonomous free-flying robot capable of exploring the ISS. It was designed to be as safe as possible in a microgravity environment. Its spherical form contrasts well with the ISS's boxy environment. It has many advantages, making it an ideal companion of astronauts.

FAQ

Is there another technology which can compete with AI

Yes, but not yet. There are many technologies that have been created to solve specific problems. But none of them are as fast or accurate as AI.

What is AI good for?

Two main purposes for AI are:

* Predictions - AI systems can accurately predict future events. AI can be used to help self-driving cars identify red traffic lights and slow down when they reach them.

* Decision making – AI systems can make decisions on our behalf. So, for example, your phone can identify faces and suggest friends calls.

What does AI mean today?

Artificial intelligence (AI), which is also known as natural language processing, artificial agents, neural networks, expert system, etc., is an umbrella term. It's also known as smart machines.

Alan Turing wrote the first computer programs in 1950. His interest was in computers' ability to think. He suggested an artificial intelligence test in "Computing Machinery and Intelligence," his paper. The test tests whether a computer program can have a conversation with an actual human.

John McCarthy introduced artificial intelligence in 1956 and created the term "artificial Intelligence" through his article "Artificial Intelligence".

Many types of AI-based technologies are available today. Some are simple and easy to use, while others are much harder to implement. They range from voice recognition software to self-driving cars.

There are two types of AI, rule-based or statistical. Rule-based uses logic to make decisions. A bank account balance could be calculated by rules such as: If the amount is $10 or greater, withdraw $5 and if it is less, deposit $1. Statistics is the use of statistics to make decisions. A weather forecast may look at historical data in order predict the future.

Which AI technology do you believe will impact your job?

AI will replace certain jobs. This includes drivers of trucks, taxi drivers, cashiers and fast food workers.

AI will bring new jobs. This includes jobs like data scientists, business analysts, project managers, product designers, and marketing specialists.

AI will make it easier to do current jobs. This includes doctors, lawyers, accountants, teachers, nurses and engineers.

AI will improve efficiency in existing jobs. This includes jobs like salespeople, customer support representatives, and call center, agents.

What countries are the leaders in AI today?

China leads the global Artificial Intelligence market with more than $2 billion in revenue generated in 2018. China's AI industry is led in part by Baidu, Tencent Holdings Ltd. and Tencent Holdings Ltd. as well as Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. and Xiaomi Technology Inc.

China's government is heavily investing in the development of AI. Many research centers have been set up by the Chinese government to improve AI capabilities. These centers include the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition and State Key Lab of Virtual Reality Technology and Systems.

China is also home of some of China's largest companies, such as Baidu (Alibaba, Tencent), and Xiaomi. All these companies are active in developing their own AI strategies.

India is another country which is making great progress in the area of AI development and related technologies. India's government focuses its efforts right now on building an AI ecosystem.
